Chapter Scholarships CFE Exam ScholarshipsTampa Bay Chapter Associate Members who pass the CFE examination will be reimbursed for the cost of the examination (up to a $250 value). The only requirements are that you are an Associate Member of the Tampa Bay Chapter for at least one full year, which means you must also be an Associate Member of the ACFE and that you pass the examination. To apply for the CFE Exam Scholarship, submit a scholarship request letter along with proof of passing the exam to Wayne Boytim, Chapter Training Director. Presentation of the scholarship will be made at a Chapter Dinner Meeting. Student ScholarshipsThe Chapter has been actively providing scholarships totaling over $20,000 to students in the local community since 2001. The Chapter established a scholarship committee to identify the process of finding candidates from the local Colleges and Universities. Since the first scholarship of $500 was awarded, the Chapter has continued to provide scholarship funding to criminology, accounting and ethics students at six local Colleges and Universities. Currently, each School is awarded $1,000, and they each establish a scholarship selection committee to receive applications, review them, and select the recipients. Most of the Colleges and Universities have professors, who are CFE members of our Chapter. For further information about our Student Scholarships please contact Laura Krueger Brock our Chapter Treasurer.
